A stealth game where you heal your victims.

Post game patch:

  • Smoke clouds provide cover
  • Pedestrians won't stack so much
  • Pedestrians can now hold hands

Made in 72 hours for minijam 135: "Deception", with the limitaiton "Death effects more than the player." We started planning a week in advance, we combed through the possible limitations and had a good idea of what we would do for each. Death effects more than the player was one of our favorites, we liked the idea a stealth game where you are actually discouraged from killing people. If you let a pedestrian bleed out on the street, they leave a very visible and hard to remove corpse, which you need to drag back into the alley to dispose of. My favorite feature is the cardboard box, which serves two purposes, a portable place to hide bodies AND a stealth accessory!

The game went largely to plan! We scoped everything out so the game was basically done by the 48 hour mark, and had plenty of room for polish. I was the programmer, sprite artist, and sound maker. The background music wasn't made for this jam, the track is called  "Dry Air," I made it for an old WIP, @rutbny was the background artist, gameplay tester, and excellent teammate.

good concept, lags to the point of being unplayable

Sorry about that! The game can run poorly in browsers other than chrome. You can also reduce particles from the settings menu, but my guess is that on chrome it should run fin

the game is nice, but it can become buggy/ laggy if you leave a corpse to be found while going to speak to the master rat

I love the art! This game is really well done :D
